Hello, my name is Aaron Babber. I am a stretch and mobility therapist whose passion resides in opening the door to new movement goals for everyone by grounding the mind and body to achieve relaxation, restoration, and function. As someone who has skateboarded my whole life, I have learned that the loop of failure is consistent, but it is not your predecessor - it is your teacher. Stretching is for everyone. Whether it is a deep stretch or a light stretch, I truly mean everyone. The great stretch tutorials you see online can sometimes leave you feeling intimidated by the positioning or the extent of lengthening that some people can achieve. I’m here to tell you that everyone is different, everyone starts somewhere, and everyone can achieve their goals as long as they show up. To quote NBA champion Jalen Brunson of the NY Knicks, “You’re allowed to feel your absolute worst. It’s up to you to do something about it.” The quote rings true for people of all ages who are looking to alleviate that “absolute worst” feeling caused by built-up tension, or even for those who simply want a reset to improve performance in all areas of life. Movement is medicine, and the proof is in the pudding. As a jack of all trades, this is the skill I feel I have humbly mastered, not only by working the muscle itself, but by guiding the mind to rewire the muscle’s actions. Lengthening the muscle unlocks the door. Strengthening it will keep that door open, and I am here to show you how. Grounding the mind and body to achieve relaxation, restoration, and function.
